Arts United is a "children's creative dance program, emphasizing the improvement of individual exercise habits, discipline, and artistry in the context of free expression." 

 

Founded by Cirque du Soleil artist Alan Medina and his wife Lourdes, the program brings the art of dance to children of the Las Vegas community through classes, workshops, and special events.

​

It was important to the company that its logo represent the united aspect of its mission, which I incorporated through clear lines representing the discipline and structure of dance and a flowing typeface emphasizing its connection to the larger arts community in general.

 

Moreover, to capture the joy that this program brings to the many kids involved, I snuck in a subtle but appealing smile within the typeface itself.

Along with a trifold brochure introducing the program to the community, I designed posters and flyers for their upcoming classes and workshops.
